Founding Story

Vintner’s Daughter was founded on the principles of unparalleled quality and efficacy, inspired by our founder April Gargiulo’s background in the world of fine winemaking and its uncompromising standards. We apply these same, exacting principles to our sourcing and formulation processes, which is why Active Renewal Cleanser™, Active Treatment Essence™ and Active Botanical Serum™ have set new standards for performance, quality, and safety. Achieving such excellence requires a great amount of time and resources, and a commitment and dedication to the ideals of craftsmanship. Shortcuts cannot be taken when you insist upon making the very best of something. This is the philosophical foundation upon which we are built. A Fewer Philosophy
Our skincare philosophy centers on offering multi-beneficial performance and the belief that if one product delivers a myriad of benefits, fewer products are needed, fewer are produced, and less natural resources are utilized.

Responsible Sourcing
Our ingredients are sourced from responsible producers, many of which have used the same sustainable, organic farming practices for generations.

Better Packaging
Our sustainable packaging initiatives are ongoing and include boxes made with 80% post-consumer recycled materials or FSC certified board, printing with eco-friendly ink, and exclusively using recyclable glass bottles.

Testing Without Harm
We are certified cruelty-free through the internationally recognized Leaping Bunny Program.

Supporting Earth Advocacy
We donate 2% of every bottle sold to charitable organizations and nonprofits, including the Sierra Club and The Conservation Fund.

We believe it is our duty to give back—because gratitude means acknowledging all that has been given and joyfully giving in return. From day one of Vintner’s Daughter, and every day since, we have donated 2% of every purchase to charitable organizations dedicated to protecting, educating, and empowering women and children around the world. This commitment comes from a place of deep respect for our intrinsic connection and responsibility to one another. Each year we select more than ten charities making an impact and donate funds to help support the incredible work they do.
